Megan joined Fury Duarte in 2019. She handles criminal defense cases for the firm. Prior to joining Fury Duarte, Megan worked for a well respected criminal defense firm, where her primary focus was on DUI cases.
Megan earned her juris doctor from Mercer Law. During law school, she was the Vice Chair of Mock Trial for the Mercer Advocacy Council and the President of the Association of Women Law Students. Megan served one year on the Habeas Project, where she worked on a Writ of Certiorari for an inmate on Georgia’s death row. Megan was a member of the National Trial Competition team for two years. Prior to law school, Megan attended Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Megan is actively involved with the Trial Lawyers College which was founded by Gerry Spence in 1994.
